18" Convert To Gel Log Set In Oak (Item 2543)
We have an extremely small fireplace (coal burning) and this log set was the only one that could fit. The gel burns with a nice golden color and actually makes crackling sounds. I open the flue slightly as I think there is a bit of an odor. Also, I do not notice any measurable amount of heat, but I purchased this more for the look than anything and our family loves it.

18" Convert To Gel Log Set In Oak (Item 2543)
We own a 115 year old home in Fargo with 3 coal burning fireplaces and they are extremely small. We plan to convert at least one to gas, but other projects are more pressing (roof, electrical, plumbing, etc) but we still wanted to use our fireplaces. I purchased the smallest log set and it was still slightly too large for the actual firebox. I was unable to attach the smaller logs to the mechanism to lift them, but they look nice just resting on the larger logs. The fire is so pretty when lit and the gel actually crackles. I am extremely impressed and pleased as our fireplace is no longer just a beautiful wall decoration, but usable.

Cathedral Finish Electric Fireplace (Item 63775)
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered it but have wanted a corner unit with an electric fireplace for about 3 years now. I didn't actually expect the unit to give off heat but it does - my living room is pretty comfy now for watching TV without putting the heat up in the whole house.
One piece of the furniture unit required "fixing" when it was put together but nothing major.
I like all the different options for the "firebox" and I think the metal chain screen actually makes it look more like a wood fireplace.
I'm very happy with it and have already recommended it to friends. The wood color for the unit was a bit darker than the photo on the web site but that worked for us. Also you should read the info on returns because if you don't like the unit for some reason it sounds like you are charged a restocking fee and the cost of shipping it back. That was a concern of mine but I'm glad I ordered it because I'm really enjoying it.
